This study wil study the effects of Health Literacy on Health Disparities in HIV Clinical Outcomes.

HAND2 Study

This study will investigate the neurocognitive and biomarker effect of adding zidovudine (versus placebo) to a standard of care regimen (raltegravir/tenofovir/emtricitabine) in antiretroviral-naïve subjects as well as treatment experienced subjects who have been off therapy for at least 9 months with HAND in a small precursor clinical study of 46 subjects.

INR Study

This study will examine immunologic differences in lymph node biopsy samples between those who have had a good CD4 increase after taking HIV medications compared to those who have had a poor CD4 increase after taking HIV medications.

CBCT Study

This study will evaluate if the practice of Cognitive-based compassion training, a meditative practice based on Buddhist teachings, can decrease inflammation in people living with HIV based on certain chemical markers from a patient's blood.

GSK 201147 Study

This study will investigate the safety and efficacy of a new fixed -dose combination of abacavir/dolutegravir/lamivudine (ABC/DTG/3TC) as a single tablet regimen compared with subjects taking their current combined antiretroviral therapy (cART) for the treatment of HIV-1 infected adults in whom the HIV-1 virus is currently suppressed.
